So the first of my apple snail's clutches hatched yesterday, with a little help, and are now in a tiny 2 litre unheated container.
I want them to grow as quick as possible, so I gathered heat was the way to go. I will shortly transfer them to a 2 gallon (10 litre) tank with heater.
So what temperature should I put them at, so that they grow really fast? I want to put them in my main tank asap, but they would just get lost and sucked up in water changes at the moment. I can hardly see them.
How quickly should I expect them to grow?
Also any tips for feeding? I am worried even a small bit of algae wafer would foul the water. I was thinking I would include a bit of cuttle fish too.
