Apistogramma Cacatuoides

I have finally got a pair to breed for me, female is hiding in cave poking her head out now and then the male is patrolling the area. I have removed my other male and female but left a small female in there as i cant catch the little thing. Lets hope i have a batch of fry soon.

I hope the apisto cacatuoides and macmasteri will get on in my main tank which is 30 gallon and plenty of hiding. I only have 3 macmasteri but have 3 male and 2 female cacatuoides in there

my cacatuodies have bred twice, but i've only seen about 6 small fry slowly moving on the bottom. It's a community tank so i assume most got eaten, but do you know what type of number each batch roughly produces?

Did you leave the mum in too?

I think mine has laid eggs again...suddenly liking her cave a lot more and keeping others away!
