Just got my first Apisto cacatuoides fry that are now about ten days old.
I know it's early days but i've read on a couple of sites that it's best to
remove the fry at around a month as quite often the female spawns again and
can eat the larger fry to look after the smaller fry.
Would appreciate any advice,
Cheers,
Alan.

I've left the parents (wild caught ones) with the fry for over 2 weeks now and they are fine. If they are ready to be moved, then move the parents. That's what I do.

I've had good luck siphoning fry out with half inch tubing, into a small container (gallon jar) placed in a five gallon bucket. Gives you a little extra time to siphon and they never leave the water that way.
