Anything Different For A Tank?

Due to electricity costs I'm thinking I have to cut down on the tanks ( tropical ) I am running but I'm not a fan of ordinary goldfish so wondered if there are any suggestions out there as to fish or amphibs etc for 2' or 4' tanks.

You could keep a pair of really nice fancy golds in a 4 foot tank. Ryukins are lovely, very handsome fish and would be stunning when fully grown.

A 2 foot tank really isn't big enough even for one goldfish, so a good choice for that would be say, 10 white cloud mountain minnows perhaps? I have also seen types of gudgeon for sale in my lfs too.
