I am wondering which exact types of tetras do not hassle guppies. ( and other fish i will look for in the future... platys mollies..)

I already have Neon tetras (3) and Black neon tetras (2)
and they dont bother with my guppies.

Anyone who has kept any other types of tetras with guppies..
please give suggestions

also 2 more Questions

How would harlequin rasboras mix in with my future stock?
and...
Are Endlers known to jump out of tanks (my 100 litre cycling tank is open topped)

Thanks!

i havnt kept guppies with tetras but, the harlequins would be ok with ur current settup your fish stock makes me feel

Oh ignore him.

Rummynoses would be ok with guppies, personally I would add to the neons/black neons you already have to make them larger shoals.

Harlequins are lovely peaceful fish and would go very well with your chosen fish.

Glad you said that because ive seen rummy noses and liked them!
the different sub types would look lovely together

I keep rasboras (harliquin and copper) with neons, black neons, platies, mollies, killies and cories no problems

Oh nearlly forgot my 2 bn plecs aswell

I have black neons with platys and have no problems, as already said i would up your numbers of your existing tetras first.

Cheers Gordon

Cardinals here living quite happily with guppies :good:

Lemon tetra, rosy tera, rummynose, all happy here with plattys and guppies. Also have a few endlers and they have not tried to jump out of the tank when the lid is off.

I have neon tetras, black neon tetras, rummynose tetras and glass bloodfin tetras with my guppies and have had no problems at all i have also had black widow tetras with them without any problems :good:

Great Stuff!!!!
glad i got a bigger tank, the fishless cycle is going well, i thought i added too much ammonia and the system wouldnt lower it and it would stick at 8 + ppm,
however it went down to 3 ppm, then 0pmm yesterday!!! the nitrites are now 1 pmm,
Added more ammonia,

Oh i really wanted to find endlers to keep with male guppies, but i have read a topic on here sayibng warning they are jumpers and can clear 2 feet !!
Theres is absolutely no lid, cant make one either due to weird shape.!

Cant you buy a condensation cover and cut it to size to stop any jumpers? usually easy to find cheap plastic condensation trays.

you can get glass or acrilic cut to size. For the glass a local glass shop should be able to cut it to size an bevel the edges for you

I have and have had 100's of endlers and have yet to see one try to leap of my tanks. They only time i see them leap is from my nets when being transferred from tank to tank. But literature says they are leapers yes!
