Anyone Spawned Cherry Barbs Before?

Just wondering because I'd like to be a bit prepared if mine do

I'm not trying to plan anything but let nature take its own course.

OMG SHE IS LAYING EGGS ALREADY! WHAT DO I DO PLEASE!!! Okay sorry for caps. I've NEVER had any fish give birth/lay eggs. I'm so excited!

In all honesty, unless you have a spare tank to raise the fry in, there's not a lot you can do. You can't raise egg bearing fish properly in a breeding net or trap, as they need very small foods and very frequent water changes.

Haha sorry I was very excited just now. I never saw a fish laying eggs before

Yes I got advice from someone to put the eggs in another tank with anti-fungal treatment. Will do that the next time they spawn and see how things go. Thanks though fluttermoth
