Fish Fanatic
hello,
i have noticed that my male honey gourami have been making bubbles and chasing the female, i know he is a bit harsh on her too so the female usually hides all the time. but, today i saw this on her, it almost looks like just a wound (probably caused by the male) but i'm not sure.
the tank's parameter is :
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrite somewhere between 25 to 50 (i'm trying to keep it down by doing more water change and feed the fish less)
PH 7.2
it's a 33 gal tank with 6 albino cories (one got fungus but already healed, treat the cory in a qt) 6 kuhli loaches, 10 ember tetra, a pair of honey gourami
i have the female honey gourami in a qt now with no meds in the water, put sponge filter from my other tank. i'm planning to just leave here that way and do water change daily, but maybe anyone can help me with better advice. i have done 50% water change on the 33gal tank after removing the female to a qt.
thank you
