Anyone Know What This Is?

An online friend saw one of these in the local fish shop, but can't figure out what it is, and noone around seemed to know either. Any ideas?

Looks like some kind of sculpin

That looks very much like a bottom-dwelling marine fish known as a Sea Robin (genus Prionotus). I won't be much help as to species because I haven't spent much time researching them.

Looks like there's plenty of weird looking legged fish, but that's heaps to go on. I hope she gets it now.

Its a type of Gurnard, a family of fishes well known for their leg like pelvic fins and large wing like pectorals.
