Fish Addict
Basically I ahve one thats about 4 years old. The pump has been broken for approximately 3 and a half of these years, which was when it was stored in the shed, as we couldnt get any spare parts. What I'm worried about is the built in heater, i know theres some way to get the stupid thing off, but so far I hav'nt managed it. Currently its not working but I'm worried it'll suddenly switch on and fry the fish. So basically does anyone have any ideas of how to stop the heater electrifying my fish? Apart from the heater its a prefectly good tank, and the lights still working. If the light didnt work I'd just remove the entre hood, thus getting rid of both heater and pump, but since I want the light... and it's built in LOL.
So any help with that'd be apprceiated, oh and on a side note, anyone know where to get pure ammonia in Aus, all I've found is cloudy ammonia...
