Anyone identify this fish

I think it's name was pagassius catfish, it is silver, quite long and looks slightly like a silver shark, it also is very lively in the tank?? Anyone have any clue?

You are probably referring to a "Pangasius Catfish" also known as an "Iridescent Shark Catfish"

I don't know much about them as such, as I've never really has a swimming pool big enough to keep one
