Ah, one of these North American darters. This Redfin darter was very colorful during spawning period. Too bad they cannot be collected due to some laws, but there's some relatives can be collected for aquarium purposes such as Rainbow darter or Orangethroated darter. Swamp darter is easy darter to take care because they can take flakes and don't need much current.

Majority of darter species love to have some current in the water and some darters likes to have some rocks to hopping on.

What is your curious about this redfin darter?

do u know where u csan get them from in uk?

Sorry you need to have license for coldwater species and lots of UK LFS don't want to bother order the darter from United States. And I don't think UK has darters yet. And majority of darter species are protected by laws.
