This has happened alot of times in the past, but thought id tell you all this time 
Last night after it stopped tipping down, i let my 2 cats and 2 dogs out for a while, i left the backdoor open so they could come back in. Then my little jackrussell called molly started jumping around the living room barking at me, darting to the back door then darting back. I thought this was odd so i followed her........ as i got the the backdoor i heard this ear piercing screem, didn't have a clue what it was. So i got my torch and ventured in to the garden, only to see that my cat was hitting around a large frog by the pond, he wasnt trying to kill it, just touching it so it would jump off.
Feeling sorry for the frog, i moved the cat away and went to pick it up when its squeeled again.....everytime i went to pick it up it would squeel REALLY LOUD!
I did manage to pick it up checked it over to see if it was ok, and put it back in the pond. Cute little thing and had great green and black colours.
I wish i had had my camera phone to record this weird sound that it kept making. You would never of thought that a sound like that could come from a little creature like this.
Anyone else heard a frog making these ear piercing sounds?
