I have a 20g high tank that is 24" length. I currently have 1.5wpg. I am looking to upgrading my lighting and picking up a co2 kit. Right now I have a couple of the aponogeton bulbs that are growing but very slowly. Along with these I am looking into planting the tank a lot more. I saw this light on www.drsfostersmith.com. The light would raise my wpg to a little over 3wpg. If you know of a better setup for a reasonable price please let me know. It also says it comes with a 1000k bulb, is this temperature recommended for a planted freshwater tank? Oh the link for the light is here:
