Anyone Have A Rusty Gorgonian?

The only thing Ive found as far as its appearance is that it has white fuzzy looking polyps. Mine always has those, until yesterday. Right now it has little black dots on it that are evenly spaced out like where the polyps are usually at, but most of the polyps arent out. I dont know whats going on.

Do you happen to know if yours is a photosynthetic or a feeding gorgonia?
