Standby that looks awesome, there isn't a DIY thread on what you did or anything is there?

Looks good, I haven't got the patience to do my own now after the hours I've spent getting my new tank set up :(

Hopefully I will have soon.. I'm just waiting on somebody dropping the board off for me so i can start it (5x18 doesn't fit in an MR2)

Rather than going from above I'm going from behind.

Some grout to roughen it up and make it 'rocky', grey paint and matt black paint. Drill holes in and fit some of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300543600255?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 through, wired up to one of these

It'll either look great or be an epic failure.

I have LED blue lights in mine, but i bought the tank like that, I will try take a pic, i think it looks lovley all lit blue, especially on the night time when your watching a movie and dont want the tank shining into the tv, lol,

Im not sure if it will help, I have an interpet river reef, with enclosed lighting. I spent the weekend replacing the T5's with LEDS just to see; here are the results. I used the reflector as a base and have the fans running to help with heat. I stuck the LED's down with silicon glue.

I have two sets running, one blue/amber and the other whites (3W)

I have wired them into the switches on the lid so that they can be overridden instead of playing with the digital timers.
