Anyone Got A Tetra In400 Internal Filter?

Hi,

I have just installed a new Tetra IN400 filter and wondered if anyone else has one as when the water flow director is set straight, air bubbles come out BUT when the director is at an angle there are no air bubbles?? Maybe an obvious answer to this...it does have a venturi water flow thingy which im unfamiliar with.
