Anyone From Buckinghamshire?

Does anyone live in buckinghamshire just out of curiosity as I'm having trouble selling fish as everyone interested lives miles away. Thanks Spence

On and off, used to live in High Wycombe, the ammount of time i spend at my friends (god do i not apprciate having to move back in with my parents after 5 years!) i may as well still work in Bucks. I work in Bucks lol...

What fish are you needing to rehome? You tried local shops? MA@ Iver and Hillingdon usually have plenty of space..

Need to rehome a juvenile giant snakehead, just sold 3 bronze corys, and I have a common pleco in my tank atm and in about 6months its going to be too big for the tank, so I'm looking to get a smaller sized one which doesn't get enourmous, I'm not sure iver will take a giant snakehead although there are about 5 maidenhead aquatics and numerous other fish shops in the area that might so that increases my chances

Hillingdon might be your most likely as its an oddball, though try Iver and St Albans would be worth a try too can tell you now that Bourne nd, Booker and Aylesbury cant take them. Dont think Oxford will as one is marine shop (Hinksey) and Wheatly seem to have a phobia of tank busters

Ahh I see, bourne end said they often take large catfish and things like that but I'm unsure of a giant snakehead as it grows huge and extremely aggressive

I used to work at Bourne End and they are looking after all my Malawis and have 2 huge catfish already which means they dont have too many sumps left, that and i dont think they can cope with a Micropeltis (i assume this is what it is).

Iver, Hillingdon and St Albans all have a lot more and bigger tanks can ask Bourne End for you if you want, going there in a minute LOL

Iver had a refurb couple months back, not sure if they have the same amount of space now...Hillingdon is a good shout tho, I may need to rehome some fish there also...unfortunately, not a great market for fish that get big.

Yh ivers been refurbed they have a monster tank in there and its in the proccess of cycling now, they should be stocking it by christmas and think its going to be a massive cichlid setup, yh I've rang around a few places and no one will have the snakehead (micropeltis) I'm going to ask iver when there tank is up and running

As far as i'm aware, its a Marine tank Iver has set up, was going to be for their huge breeding motoro stingray but after something like 14 litters, something happened (i dont know what) and they lost her... so they are setting it up marine, i think they were cycling it freshwater and then adding salt and cycling it further. Think Blue Spot Rays were on the wishlist... but hey... that was 3 weeks ago, who knows if they have changed their mind LOL
