Honestly it looks like a fancy version of a bunch of DIY CO2 generators.

Most of the methods of "generating" CO2 I have tried are a massive pain. It is hard to get consistent output and you have to faff with them constantly. This means your CO2 levels in your tank tend to be pretty unstable. That then means you end up with algae issues.

I could be wrong, maybe things have been refined and improved a lot since I last tried it. Personally though if I'm using CO2 I would rather use a pressurised CO2 bottle, regulator and solenoid. Especially as they aren't really anymore expensive then these "generator" systems now.
