Just curious if anyone else has ever seen this happen. I set up a new 20 gallon long. I always use 3/4" furniture grade plywood under my tanks, wherever they sit, to ensure a perfectly level, smooth surface for the tank to be supported on. This latest tank (after filling it of course) I noticed several days later that only the ends are sitting flush on the board. I can slip an index card under the tank frame in the middle and slide it to within 3" of the end on one side and about 7" of the end on the other. The plywood is not the issue, it is level and smooth. I am going to assume this isn't going to be an issue since the tank has been filled for about a week now and I see no leakage or apparent stress on the glass - which is good, because I really am in no mood to pull it down and take the tank back to the shop for a replacement. Just can't figure out for the life of me why this would be this way. I've never seen it before on any tank. My assumption is that there must be more silicon on the ends, inside of the frame, than in the middle.
