anyone breed dennisoni barbs yet??

has anyone on the site,or,anywhere for that matter,breed dennisoni barbs.would love to hear from you.

Not heard of them being bred. There seems to be quite a bit of confusion over their true classification.

At the moment, I still call them Barbus as that is what I've always called them, but the lack of breeding and a few other issues makes me doubt that. As a Barbus species from a familiar environment, they should not be difficult to breed.

I have also seen them classified as Epalzeorhyncus denisonii, and Crossocheilus denisonii which would make more sense.
