I was wondering if anyone had a pic of their comb tail betta because my betta looks like it.It looks like a crowntail and a viel tail betta in one. And I was just wondering if mine had any resemblence.

heres a comby

Edit: there used to be a pinned article a list of teh tail types and pictures to go with em. if i recall correctly it was jacblades who put it up. really liked it, someone should make another or get it put back up there.

No he looks nothing like that. I'll try and describe him. He looks like any common veil tail that you see at lps but at the end of the fins it looks like spikes from a crowntail. What kind of tail is this?

Yea he looks all most like that only the spikes are alittle longer. What tail type is that?

that my friend would just be a differant version of a combtail, there is alot of variety in them. and also if he is new, he may have have his tail stripped by bacterial while he was in teh cup (which would leave those long rays), but if u'v had him a long time he's likely a comby  conrats

You'll get several versions of combtails.

I have one with a veil tail with double ray spikes on the end.
Another is my avatar photo.....<<<<<<

These are from my combtail union.... several tail types

this is essentially a veil tail, who has some uneven ray growth. Pretty fish, my veils all have tails like this, it adds character.
