Are there any small loaches that can live in a 10gallon?

Well, a lot depend on what else you've got in there. A tank that size doesn't give you a lot of opportunities, and many loaches are gregarious and really need to be kept in groups. Kuhli Loaches might be suitable.

we've got 2 ladder loaches in our 15 gal.

they get to about 3" if thats any help...

Khuli Loaches are about the only ones that come to mind. The rest get to be too big.

Kuhli Loaches are just about the only loach that I would say could go in there and even then It might be a little crowded.
