Any Superfish Home 45 owners? Fish getting caught in the filter housing!

I have the Superfish Home 45 tank with 3 shrimp and 6 endlers. I’ve had them in there for 3 days and already I’ve had 2 fatalities with a fish and shrimp getting caught in the filter housing overnight.

I was wondering if anyone else owned this brand of tanks and had any tips for preventing this? I can’t see anywhere that they could get in so I’m baffled really

Are they being sucked in after they died?

Did you cycle the tank before getting the fish fish/shrimps? In other words, ddid you add ammonia to the tank to grow the beneficial bacteria?
What are the ammonia and nitrite readings of the water?
