hi ive got my tanks nearly sorted out and was reading another post about ottos catfish and dwarf african frogs. In 30 gallon tank I have one betta and 2 blue noen rainbow fish, would the otto catfish or dwarf frog be sutiable to put in my 30 gallon tank at a later date? As you've all be such great help with advice previously i thought i'd ask here first rather than ask yet another useless lfs!

The oto's should be ok if you wait until the tank has been running for about 6 months. They are quite sensitive and need a mature tank. They are also very sensitive to water quality and if your tank is still cycling or newly cycled they probably won't make it. You can get more info on them here
http/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=35094. You may also be able to add a group of cories for the bottom of the tank once it is established.

I am not really sure about the Dwarf frog as I have never had one, but you can try asking on Amphibian board on here.

I can't see any reason why you could'nt have a froggie, how deep is a 30g as I not shore if they will find it to deep for them to go up for air. I dout that would be a prolem though.

I have 5 ADF's, they love blood worms but are rather blind, so occationaly snap wildy occationaly getting fish, but mine have never injured or eaten any of my fish.

hi my tank is bout 12" deep there is bog wood which is nearly the high of the water and some rocks to i wont be geting them till i no my tank is a bit more mature

should be fine, just make shore you hood is tightly fitting as they can escape through the tinyest gaps.
