Any Rocks?

Can i put any rocks i want into my fish tank that i find at the garden centre? jsut aslong as tehre cleaned properly?

Ok get a bucket put the rock in pour boiling water over it.

THEN

do the vinger test

if the vinger bubbles the rocks FULL of PH

if not

its safe to use.

Get advcie from some-one else as im not 100% right at times!

Yeah usually they are fine, some will raise your ph, like sandstone for instance, which is fine if you want to keep African Cichlids, but usually only by about .5 and usually over time, so the fish adapt overtime, its not an instant rise in ph.

You can do a vinegar test on them, if they fizz, aparently you shouldnt use them, personally never done a vinegar test and fingers crossed not had a problem.
