My plan is to have the co2 pumping in at night and the air line closed and then reversed at night. This o2 diffused in at night and co2 diffused in during the day.

Hi, my recommendation is not to change from CO2 to O2 overnight!!

It will cause too much of a pH swing as the O2 drives off the CO2. Take a look at the following article: The Krib: should you leave CO2 on overnight?

Hi, I just bought a Heto brand (1000lph) and a Pow brand (500lph) and they were AU$10 and AU$20 respectively, They both have a 12mm I.D. outlet wich is the same as the pipe for my gravel vac, they both have an air intake thingo but the Heto doesn't work as well as the Pow.

Could you have a T piece on the airline, one side going to air with a little tap and one going to the CO2?

I think Pow is the brand name. Here is the link to the Australian site where I got them from. You might note that the pow powerhead is in the internal filter section but it is the type of filter that is just an attachment to a powerhead. and I just noticed you can get a 700lph one too.

well i deleted the .au and it took me to http/www.aquariumproducts.com/category3_1.htm so I suppose that is the american one?

Sorry I think it is still the Australian shop as the address is still in Queensland if you look in the orders section it has the address for the shop. I am sure you could get these from an American site or ebay etc. if not it would probably cost more for the Australian shop to post to the US, mind you at $10 the heto was dirt cheap, at todays rate thats like US$7.99. (The Ausie dollar is looking good).
