Any Rays That Stay "small"?

I was at my LFS and got very interested in teacup sting rays, later read they can get up to 18 inches and require very large tanks. I am planning on upgrading my mbuna to a 100 gal in the next year so I would have an open 55 gal for whatever I choose to keep. My question is are there any rays that would stay small enough to be happy in a 55 gal?

Nope, smallest rays, scobina, need at least a 180g.
