Quite a few nice plecs there and lots are suitable so Ill keep it simple :) Good list as well obvs well researched. :)

Clown Plec. L104 - Yes
Green Phantom Plec. – L200 - Bit too big IMO
Marble Peckoltia L147 - Bit on the large size but depends on other numbers
Medusa Plec - L34 - Yes
Pitbull Plec - Parotocinclus jumbo LDA25 - Yes
Scribble Plec L66 - Yes but these can be expensive
Snakeskin Plecostomus - L37 - Bit too big I think again at 8" max but L135 which is similar but their lines are mainly on the face rather than stretching down but are nice :)
Starlight Ancistrus L183 - Yep :)
Tiger Peckoltia - L15 - Yes!

how many could i keep in my tank of one type, not too sure if i could mix them,i plan to have a shoal of corys too

What about other fish ideas? And also what kind of filter are you running? I would recommend an external that can make a lot of circulation to make sure all the poop gathers in the filter rather than staying around the substrate. If it were me I think I would go with 3 of the smaller ones a big group of cories and then some mid sized small cichlids like cupid cichlids. So maybe have a think of something like

3 Cupid Cichlids
6 Marbled Hatchets - or similar school of small fish. Like stay with the small tetras like green neons etc.
8 Panda Cories
1 L L66
1 L L104 or L 15 (quite similar so would think about an either or scenario)
1 L 34 or L 183 (same as above)

The problem your going to have mixing plecs like this is they require different tank conditions and dietary requirements.

The 66 will prefer a higher temp than 104, the 15 you will get away with, the 66 also requires a meat based diet whereas the other wont fair to well long term if they eat to much protein based foods.

The 104 will require wood in the tank whereas it's not so essential for the rest.

Basically all the species would be fine for a 125litre tank apart from the L37, obviously the likes of the 183 and the 200 should ideally be kept in a larger tank consider they can get to 8 inches and maybe more.

Be careful with the 183's males tend to get very aggressive and quite a few people including me have had problems keeping groups of them together.

I would IMO keep to 1 species, out of the list the ideal ones for a 125 ltr tank would be the L66, L15, L104 but for me it would be the 66's everytime. Be careful what you stock your tank with also, the 66's will need temps in the 80's to keep them fully happy, your other planned fish may not tolerate these temps long term.

will prob keep it to the temp where i can pick from the widest variety of fish,so what plecs would suit that sort of temp?

The desired temp for fish varies so much from species to species so basically once you've chosen which fish you are planning, that will determine which plec would be ideally suited.

6 x Corydora
3 x Platy
2 x Swordtail (Female)
2 x plec

this is sort of stock i am hoping to get,but i am open to suggestions

Nah you can do much more in a 30g tank, maybe not plec wise but certainly got room for more fish in there ;)

Hi scotty :)

What kind of corys were you planning to get? There aren't too many that will thrive in warm water. If you will need to keep it at 80+ F., C. sterbai are probably your best bet.

Corys do need good clean water so it's important to keep the pleco waste picked up and the vegetable matter you feed them fresh.
