Any invertebrate besides shrimps,frogs and snails?

Like a hermit crab or something similar but for freshwater.

I really think hermits are cool and I might get one. There's a hermit crab counter in the mall here that sell lots of crabs I might get one someday

anyway, for my aquarium, is there anything similar I could put in?

Theres crayfish and lobsters. Theres something called a cobalt blue lobster thats bright blue and grows to 5". Theres also a breed of freshwater clam that i've seen online.

Lobsters look like fun

I'll check out my lfs tomorrow see if they have them

Please note that lobsters are likely to be both nocturnal and predatory to any smaller fish you keep with them.

I'll be giving away my guppies to my girlfriend any day now and will be keeping gouramis and bolivian rams only

These fish will most likely grow at least almsot as big as the lobster
