Any Info On Snowball & Heteradon Plecs?

Anyone got any info on Snowball and Heteradon Plecs ?

My LFS has quite a few small ones but they are quite pricey, for there size, but they do look nice

I think there are several know by the common name of "snowball" - though it's more than likely to be the LDA33 - just google for some info on them They sell on average for £25 - £30 for those I've seen.

yep, the Snowballs in the LFS are £20 for about 3 inches, the Heteradon's are 18 quid for about the same size (or fractionally smaller)

Most of the snowball plecs you see aren't the baryancistrus LDA33 (L142).... The LDA33 are beautiful fish though. I have one at about 4".

the ones I've seen were labled LDA33 - are you saying they weren't that ?

We just got a King Tiger Plec today l66 - it's only just over an inch long and still cost us £15.

Worth every penny though - will look stunning when it grows larger.

I'm having trouble finding it in the tank at the mo as it's so small

Snowball plecs are cool too - there are soooo many awesome looking plecs it's hard to choose which to go for!
