it stopped working without any signs..
ive changed the fuse to check if it was just that and it didnt make a differance..
is there any way that i can fix it?

These are electronic starters if I remember correctly and thus don't have "replacable" starters like traditional magnetic balasts :good:

If there is a switch in the power supply line, try cutting it out and see if that works. The switches on these usits do fail occasionally, so try that before doing anything expencive, like replacing the unit or balasts...

All the best

Hi, check out my posts in this forum. I am in the middle of trying a repair.

You can take the unit appart with a dremmal (small cutting device) or pressure applied with a screwdriver to a conveniant weak spot. Inside, there is a balast and a load of wiring. Check all the connectons, and go round with a voltmeter to identify the failed bit. If it is the balast, it will need replacing. It is also possible that there is a wire loose, so exhaust that last possibility before you send your cash on parts for repairs. If the balast has gone, look at Dorsey's post further up/down the page for parts lists and instructions ;)
