Any Help Stocking 10Gal With A Chinese Algae Eater. Please?

I have given my chinese algae eater a new home in a ten gallon tank all by himself after watching him beat on my clown loaches and black ghost knife. I want to put something in there with him because i'm sure hes lonely now after being with all the other fish in the tank. Any ideas on what would be compatible for living in that size tank with a bully?? Thanks

Your signature says you have a 55 gallong with 4 clown loaches and a BKGF...you do realize clown loaches need at least a 6 ft tank minimum and the BKGF needs a 75 gallon minimum as well. The fish will get too big for your tank, and you need to rehome them. The Tetras need to upped as well, need a 6+ school, your tank can certainly hold more. Glofish also need a 6+ minimum.

75 gallons is even too small to permanently keep a black ghost knife. those guys get gigantic.

just wanted to point out my opinion: Id say 125 gallon at the very least as a minimum for a black ghost knife fish, as most 75 gallons are only wider than the average 55 gallon.

they are beautiful and interesting fish if you can keep them right. no meaner than some convicts/red points but no one tells you to "get rid" of yours.

By then end of the summer after we finish the basement, I am putting a 125gal down there. that is going to be our living area then. Already have the tank and stand, hood, filter,s and everything picked out, priced out, and in the budget. just have to wait until the walls are finished, cieling is in, and flooring is in first. kinda hard to work around a 6ft tank!!! as far as the tetras go, had a school of 6 of them, one died, leaves me with 5, the glowfish I also had 6 of, two of each color they had. this was 2 years ago, I have 2 left. Dont want to get more of them. Want different fish when they pass. Thanks for your advice, I have a plan, and if that plan cant go through, they will be rehomed. But, that wont have to happen

And I have been trying to find a home for the CAE, but nobody wants him. No local LFS that is private owned. only Petsmart and Petco. Already tried them, but thats a no. Dont want to kill him either!!
