Any Guesses? - Girl Or Guy?

So i was at teh fish store the other day for an exam study break and i ended up coming home with this little...girl ? guy?

The people at teh petstore sold it to me as a normal female but it's clearly a crowntail so now i've been trying to figure out if it's a female with no oviposter yet or a male?

Any thoughts/guesses? (sorry for teh slightly blurry pics)

If you're sure there's no ovipositor, it's probably a very young male. Otherwise it's a really pretty female.

so if it's a male, is it a plakat crowntail?

No, the crowns are too well defined for it to be CT plakat. If it is a male it would just be very young and have undeveloped finnage, but my bet is it's a girly judging by that cute little face

Hmm, judging by the size of the ventrals, I'd say female. Not all develop oviposters, although, the dorsal is quite big too...
