any betta experts

I work in a lfs and I a customer told me that pure yellow and pure white bettas are worth £200 each! is this true?

to warrant prices that like they would have to be perfect, colour isn't as big an issue as finnage. half-moon's (perfect 180 degree fin span w/ no gaps) get the big bucks because they are rarer. 200 pounds is almost $400 canadian, that's a pretty outrageous price no matter how you try to justify it.

I agree, they are high dollar but by no means do they cost that much.

Bettas are cool fish...but, I dunno if I'd ever pay that kind of price for one.

The green halfmoon in my second banner sold on aquabid closing price was $202.

That's the most costly betta I have ever seen in my life.
