Any Advice

ok about a year ago i got into puffers my problem i had no money but thats ok planing out a tank is fun so did then the other day i was in my lfs and they had this baby figure 8 that i fell in love with so i picked him up and one of his tank mates and they are in a 15 gallon tank heavly decorated with rocks and plants and they spend there timeroaming there tank and picking off unfortunate snails and gost shrimp and tube flex and pretty much anything else liveing in the tank ( except a few bumble bee gobys) but iknow it wont last so i absorbed more plants and rocks as i saved up and now have enough to buy them a 55 long that i feel would be more fitted for them to live with each other with out one dieing or picking on each other past as they grow ( knowing they still might fight but am hopeing for the best) but i also know that puffers are best kept in the best of water which they have but the new tank is not cycled should i shuffle my fish around to give them a bigger tank till its cycled or should i use water from my other tanks to keep the bacteria balanced ( even as i type this i feel silly but i dont want to mess up becouse sense i started keeping fish 2 years ago the only one i lost that wasnt intended for food jumped and i tore me up inside so i maybe over couseiouse but better that then lose my puffers) all advice appreciated and tanks in advance
