Hi, anyone give me advice on why this is happening.

I tried to introduce 2 Gourami to my tank yesterday (Guy in the shop said it was safe), along with a second female fighter, (I used to have 2 in the tank with him but one jumped out).

The male attacked the Gourami straight away and so I removed them, but now he's attacking the 2 females.

I've got him isolated just now, but I don't have a tank I could put him or the female's in.

Thanks in advance.

male siamese fighters should not be kept with any other anabantids (gouramis, fighters, paradise fish...) male OR female.

there's no good solution except to keep him separated from the females.

what did you do with the gouramis when you "removed them"?

I put the gouramis in another tank ( it's a little overcrowded now, but i'll keep an eye on it and change the water more often and more of it, it's the best I can do just now until I get paid and buy a bigger tank).

Thanks for the advice, i'm off to buy a small tank, I can afford that, for the fighter.
