I’m not sure if it is starting to flower but I hope so. It definitely looks like a different leaf to normal so we will see.

yes it's sending up a flower stalk. you won't get any seeds tho.

Oh excellent thanks for taking a look for me . Would I have to have another plant flowering at the same time to get seeds? Thankyou also for the excellent advice on treatments on the leopard Cory’s the other day is greatly appreciated

I have never had java ferns in my tanks before , are they hard to keep?

Not really hard , they are like anubias your just attached them to something and they take root.

Anubias are marsh plants that need insects to pollinate the flowers. Just leave it and trim the flower stalk off after it flowers.
