i thank you all... :)

Very nice tanks, you have some talent.

We dont usually allow links to other forums without permission from the admin but since it is all in Italian i think we can let this one pass ;)

ops... sorry

i put it for see the other images & the article... thanks CFC.

wow love the background did you make it? Looks very thinck at the bottom though like it takesup a lot of space?
Beautfiul though.

wow what a lovely tank :good: really like the tree root effect

have you got fish in there yet? what have you got or are planning?

looks exactly like the amazon would look like in real life :good:

Except that it is a West African biotope. And a very beautiful set up I may add. :good: I think the use of leaf litter is very imaginative. I read a little Italian, so reading throught your journal was entertaining. Congratulations on a beautiful tank. What fish are you keeping? African tetras, synodontis, kribs?

llj :D

I thank you all... there's no fishes on the tank, just plants. Some types of Anubias... Gilletti, Bartheri, Hastifolia, Batheri nana, then Crinum and Bolbitis, all species of this biotope.
The fishes will be Pelvichachromis Taeniatus "Dehane" (hard to find) a couple, Nolebias Ansorgii 10/15 and snails like Neritina Natalensis.

I would like to translate the article from italian to english (now there is on the site the part one), but i need help... I will ask this to a friend of mine.

other images....

in grey

The background is 100x45 cm and a thickness between 5 to 12 cm near the roots...

Hi

Lovely Tank. I would like my Brackish Tank to look similar. How big is your tank and can you explain how and what with you created the background like materials you used etc

Sabby

Thanks Sabby

I will translate parts of the article soon.. anyway the tank is 180 liters, for the background I have used the polyurethane and natural elements like leaves of poplar, stones, several sands, pieces of screw root and grass sand bank.

That is one of the most natural looking backgrounds I have ever seen, aged to "perfection".

The plants almost spoil the timeless aspect, they look too new. I imagine in time, if your plants mature nicely then this could be a very, very nice aquascape indeed.

"Ringraziarla molto" for sharing!

Hi George.... you have reason the plants from are little inserted, when they grow seem more realistic...

I am trying other information and photo of the biotope originates them, of it you know someone?

"ringrazio te per il commento positivo" ;)
