Ive used Anti finrot but has any one seen Uncle fungus?

No never heard if it, you can just use salt to clear finrot up if it's not to bad, as long as you haven't got any scaless fish.

When you say add salt to the tank what sort of salt would you recommend?

Aquarium salt, its one tablespoon to 5 gallons.
