Antennarius Dorehensis

OK, now I have started expanding from venomous fish I have found another great fish:

Antennarius dorehensis

The New Guinea Frogfish. Everyone except fishbase has them at 1-2" adult, and I have seen vids of them mating at this size. I can always have spare room for a tank for these size critters.

Anyone ever seen them about in the UK at all?

One bump, just to see if other who may have missed it first time round remember seeing any of these (or any others from the Antennarius genus).

try ringing tropical marine centre directly and asking them if its on their import list. if not then you might have a great task getting one

I fired off an email, no response as yet...

But in better news, my favorite (as in very small but knowledgable one man band) lfs reckons the wholesaler he buys from often has Antennarius and he will look for one of the smaller species on Wednseday. Might all work out nicely after all...
