Hello All,
Long time no post!

Right, i thought it was about time i show you all a few pictures of some of my fish, and my tank.
Please excuse the picture quality, these lil bliters are fast!

i like the set up, sand looks so nice, is that a bala shark in first pic on the left?
what size tank is it? i know its a juwel, all fish look in very good contition , i have glowlight tetras also , all the best donna .

Its a Juwel 96, I am going to upgrade my tank in a few months.
Its a silver shark, ^^. Got him today lol.
Hmmz, i will have to go and take a look down the aquarium tomorrow, see what background i can get.

Yea glowlights are cool, got some blue neons also

nice tank looks good watch that bala though they get big and like the comfort of shoals
but they are still really nice fish

Balas A.K.A silver sharks, need shoals, grow to 14" and are very active swimmers needing a tank bigger than 6'x2'x2' IMO.

How many Balas is seen to be "comfortable" ?

Six plus, in a tank probably ending up seven or eight foot long for them to be comfortable.

Aaah dear, didnt really research enough about silver sharks before i bought it. I just thought they would be similar to the red tail sharks. Perhaps, i can take it back tomorrow, even if i dont get my money back, i would rather it be in a proper sized tank.

I am quite tempted to purchase a few more plants, and put them at the back of the tank, through out the middle, behind the rocks, what do you guys think?

I think it's a gold barb.

Hmmz gold barbs have a bit more colour to them and are bigger, these are literally yellow, no other colour except for the black dot near their rear fin.
