Hey....yet another newbie to the tank!
I always thought "Why do ppl keep fish?", "what a waste of time"..... Now I know why.
I brought my first Tropical tank 8 days ago, and I was really excited; I was a 'lil upset to be told I would have to wait a week or so before getting my first fish, as I am a real I want NOW person! (god i sound spoilt!!)
Hey, I played the waiting game, got the water tested on Saturday and "YaYYYY" at long last I can get my first fishy....how exciting.
My boyfriend came with me and we got 6 Platy'; 3 pairs of different colours. (as per suggestion from the shop guy); they have been named already... Phil & Grant, Chas & Dave then Red & Amber.
They are my babies...i couldn't stop watching them. They really do have their own lil personalities...they are great...
I love them....I'm hooked.
