Another Good-bye

My little cambodian girl CC died today - no idea why...all the girls are healthy and she wasn't very old.
This is the second death this week - i don't know what's going on here.

are all your girls in a community?

do the fish appear sick before they die?

what do the bodys look like when u find them? (are they chewed up or anything?)

when was your last water change?

im sry to hear about your losses, we may be able to help you find out why these fish are dieing on you, its not uncommon for a fish to get sick without teh owner knowing and dieing, there are a number of illnesses that dont have symptoms and the fish may not have been acting out of character. but 2 fish in a week sounds suspisious, what are your setups like and stuff, can u kinda run us throgh how you care for your fish, im willing to bet it has something to do with chemicals in the water that shouldn't be there, (like bleech or something else thats not fish friendly)

I know how you feel fishykisses. Did you check the temp of the water? Maybe it got a little too warm for her. It hurts when they die, for whatever reason.

the first fish that passed was morisson and he was a CT male, obviously not kept together. I think it was just a nasty run of luck for me. The last WC was about 4 days ago. There are 6 females in a 10G community. She looked perfectly fine - no nipped fins, just face down in the gravel. It's a planted tank and i yank the plants if they look like they're dying. The water temp is 80 at the moment cause it's so stinking hot here, but really all the rest look really good. Eating, active...as was she up until today.

Maybe it's just an odd coincidence then, it might not be anything with your tank but keep your eyes peeled. Sorry about your girl She looks like she had lots of character. What a face
