Well hi, Im from New Zealand. I have been keeping fish for around 8 years, I currently keep a variety of species African cichlids to Zebra plecos. Im From ashburton which is in the South Island. I am a 45 minute drive south of christchurch. Our county is where part of lord of the rings was filmed that was pretty out of it Im think im quite lucky really as NZ fishkeeping is a small market compared to many overseas countries and the fishkeeping community is always in the know with what is going on, so it is not hard to find that fish that your looking for. Plus it is cheap to fly between Islands so a weekend trip to the north is never out of the question It is one big Playground with all the adventure thrill seeking events to do.

Cool I had about 5 weeks looking round the South Island, best highlight would have been kyaking(sp) on Doubtfull Sound with about a foot of mist on the water B)

Cann't wait to go back
