Another Filter Question

hey ive got a rio 240 ( 55 uk / 68 us G ) tank and ive got sum large cichlids JD for example and was wondering what external filter would be best for quality and cash hope someone can help as i have no idea where to start

basically you want as big an external you can fit in your stand or can afford, the more lph the better but beware as most companies give lph without the media being added so obviously this reduces the flow through the filter. i think eheim are the only ones that come close to the stats provided.
you can never have too much filtration
i have a 240L tank and run 2x externals - 1 x eheim 2215 classic and 1 x rena xp3 and they do a great job but depending on your stock you can use just 1, just get the biggest you can mate.

ye im gonna get a Eheim 2217 and run it with the internal juwel filter as well.
