...yeah his scales dont seem to POP out and he just got fat over the last few days that I know of. omg he had a little black spot on him i thought was unique... on his belly o course was that like a parasite?!? i never thought of that. anyway out of the other two he's the only one that has gotten big. im pretty sure its not the food. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!!! :/

Ok do I have to go to the LPS and get treatment for dropsy? I'm pretty sure that's what he has!!! Do I have to get him into a different tank? because I only have one tank!!!! :( AHHH! please help

bloating and scales sticking out is a sign of dropsy. you should quarantine the fish. not much you can do, unless you have caught it in the early stages. where is the black spot on his belly?

What does quarintine mean? I caught him in like the 2nd day. it was on the side. near the bottom but not under his body in the white part u can't really see it anymore...

quarantine is to seperate the fish from the rest of the community. is he eating fine? i just reread and you said the scales are not sticking out? he might be constipated. try feeding him a shelled pea.

LOL constipated?!? ok does it like have to be cooked? and wut exactly do u mean shelled

Yes cooked..if you just squeeze it between thumb and finger it will come out of its case... tetras love em  :hyper: .. try to make sure it breaks up as it goes into the water. That way they will have a better chance of eating it, as tetras preffer to eat what's falling..rather than what on thr ground.

Yea listen to semp! she's smart and nice too! but yeat try the pea technique it works for my bettas lots
