Another crowntail

Yup, you heard right! I got another one!

Darn my lfs for having crowntails in stock , I got the steel blue one a few weeks ago and the little guy I brought home today has been sitting up there since then. I finally broke down and took him home with me today

I figured him and Pink might hit it off, he's really pretty, a very deep purple with lighter purple highlights. It's hard to tell exactly what they look like when they're in that blue bettamax water, but after they bagged him up I was very pleased with him.
I've walked over to see if he was still there everytime I go in my lfs, I'd always see him peeking out at the very back of the row (they've been keeping them in the plastic bags on pegs all smashed together on a hook, know what I mean?) and he was always at the back, so I'd move him to the front and the next time he'd be at the back again , but that's all ancient history for him now , he's home & swimming around his spacious gallon sized Kritter Keeper

my lfs used to be my only place of refuge, I KNEW I'd be able to go in there and leave bettaless
X I only went in there for RO water for one of my tanks and ,look what happens ,but it's ok, I don't regret it

Plus,my 13 girls ...after losing Floyd it gave me an uneven number of 35 , now I'm back to an even 3 dozen

thanks shim, no pics yet, I'm without a digi cam atm


takes a few hours to change tanks, but I don't do it all at once, I space it out over the course of a day, do a few bettas...do some other stuff then back to the bettas and so on

That's a lotta bettas! Your home must be lovely with all of them there. And I'm glad you bought the one no one else did. He's going to be so happy now. I'm sure it was worth his long wait.
