well the when the male and female are together the male tryes to embrace the female, even though there is no nest, but shes like terrified of him. she just runs away... actually swims away, lol. how can i make her not be afraid of him?
did it all. i was thinking maybe 3 or 4 more days of condetining. but then i was thinking, how would that make her like him?Carolinesugar said:hmm, have you tried to just keep her in a clear breeding box that floats around the tank? that mite be a gud idea, as then she can feel safe in her box, but he will get 2 see her, and court her
Did you condition them both before you stuck them together in their tank ?
Have you tried heavily planting the tank their in, so she has loadsa of places to go off and hide in when she gets scared ?
Keep us updated on how it goes!

Just curious, if your mom won't let you buy 1 female betta, how will she react when you tell her you need over 50 growout jars?wrs said:i had another female but it died, and my mom wont let us get another female, but i minght if my brother gets a new tank. so id have to wait to do that. she still has bars. shes really big though. i do think shes stressed a bit at times, but she still flares at him.
