another BN plec q

I have never ever seen my BN plec swim freely across the tank, i have only ever seen him move around the glass of the tank.

is this normal behaviour?

this is the first time i have kept BN and he is doing fine and eating well but doesnt seem to swim just skuttles around the wood and glass.

Yeah this is totally normal! sometimes they just take a fit of swimming in mid-water through the tank!

Yep that's entirely normal

Totally normal behavious - i've got 4 breeding BN's and very rarely do I see them out and about swimming - I have an L200 (Yellow Spot) in my other tank and that is far more comfortable swimming round the tank than the BN's

Yes this is very normal. Infact 1 of mine swims around more than stay on the glass
