Anomalochromis thomasi 28 days old

This is the third successful spawn and hatch from my a. thomasi. I count over twenty young juveniles.

I don't know why that fish isn't more pooular. I also know a lot of experienced aquarists who struggle to breed them.

I'm amazed at how large they are after 28 days; it takes my winkies many months to get close to that size.

On the last spawn I gave 8 juveniles to a middle school class that owned two 125 g tanks and 10 juveniles to my lfs. The kids love the fish but the fish store had a hard time selling these beautiful fish. I’m not certain they will take more. That left me with two juveniles increasing my tank number to 8. That’s pushing it. I don’t want to over stock. I never expected this third spawn to be successful. Rehoming is going to be an issue. I’m getting nervous. Any ideas? You sure I can’t Fed Exp a bunch your way
